I am searching for info on John B. O'Neal ( I've been told "B" is Belton but not sure) born in Laurens Co. SC on March 30, 1836. I believe his mother's name is Sallie ? born abt. 1810. Don't know father's name. JB was in the Civil War registered with SC 2nd Regt. and then with 3rd Sc Inf. He later moved to Madison Co. AL and married Martha Walker on Sept. 22, 1869. He, his wife, and son, John Robert O'Neal moved to Huntland TN in 1871. If you have any info on him, would you puuuulllease share with me? Nice work!!!

Wow, Did not know very much about my Woodcock family my dad never talked too much about his families back ground. I on the other hand am very curious. My fathers name is Robert James Woodcock his mothers name is Agnes Woodcock. He never told me what his fathers name was. They where never close, he died the day I was born in 1977. So i am asking for help finding who my relatives are. I hope this message will help me in my quest Thank you.

Interested in connecting with relatives of Oliver F. Woodcock of Elmwood, IL who served in the 77th IL volunteer regiment and the 10th Regiment of the USA Colored Heavy Artillery during the Civil War. Ollie wrote letters to my great great great grandmother. They never married, but she kept his letters and we discovered them in an old tin box in the attic.

Used to correspond with Ed Breland of North Augusta on multiple shared families in VA, SC, GA, etc. At that time, Ed's data linked off this Woodcock site.

Is there a way to access that data?
