Your comments are very factual and the observations were first hand. I know your point is simply to offer a viewpoint on a thread which started out simply as a positive comment regarding the special significance of Easter weekend.

Unfortunately, Mr. Benwell (if that is in fact his real name, and it is possible that he and I know each other quite well) seemingly prefers to make opposing points that are not only misinformed, but more relevantly are offered as a smokescreen to his real gripe.

You see, Mr. Benwell obviously isn't really interested in defending Islam or even debating your points. No, his dissatisfaction appears to stem from himself having to be accountable to the Lord and he is irritated with those who want to live for Him.

Mr. Benwell by his very words says that because men and women have done bad things while representing the Lord, this gives him a pass to do his own thing and reject Christ because 'others' have fallen and/or committed atrocities in the 'name' of God.

Maybe I'm mistaken. If so, perhaps Rob will write back and explain why he seems to have a 'jones' about this particular issue.
