Playlist Suggestion, if not already included:

Tammy Wynette - "Stand By Your Man" - nice recording quality for a '68 tune. Makes me wonder if Columbia/Epic invested more into C&W artists, than Pop. Plus, I'm a sucker for songs that open gentle, but have a robust ending.

The Royalettes - "I Want To Meet Him". Although The Royalettes failed to score well on the national charts, and artists, such as Deniece Williams, had better success with "It's Gonna Take A Miracle", I believe they were both decent regional hits in the Philadelphia area, for The Royalettes. From their classy looks and seeing Audio CDs from Japan, containing their songs, they had to have something going for them.
