Mr. J.L. wrote: Sometimes I wish I knew what I was talking about. Ha! :-) I agree with what you wrote! While I have nothing against T-L, Most oldies stations in my area sound no better than a Time-Life collection. What I'm trying to say is, anyone can play "oldies", but how you address the situation is what makes it unique! I enjoy creativity. Like that morning talk show (you know, the morning breakfast crew) on a local oldies radio station, rather than just chit-chat, with goofy jokes, plays songs in between! I like that! Deviates from the norm! But, yes, like Bob even plays Sinatra! That's cool, too! So many great songs, overnight, it seems, bit the dust and don't ever receive airplay, like yesterday! While I love everything from Doo-Wop to Disco, or Abba to Zeppelin,, the sound quality of the recording impacts me. If it sounds poor, sorry, Charlie! That, too, probably enters into programming. I didn't know you were a PD and DJ! Cool! Tell me more, if you wish! To Jimmy Dee: Once I left work, right after I mentioned "Morse Code Of Love", oddly, a radio station played it, on my way home! Take care, Jim! Time for bed! :-) Best,
