John, many of those sixies tunes were recorded in stereo but, of course, for pressing 45 singles, they were manufactured in mono. Most of the players in the early sixties were single speaker.

I remember when I bought my first stereo record player, a beautiful solid wood model made by Philco. You could stack five albums on it. I wish I had it today. The first record I played was the Mills Brothers Greatest Hits.
