Joe, I have read some of the post here concerning your sentiments. I also thought of WWII today. I appreciate the service of the men and women who kept the world, and me, free. WE owe a debt of gratitude to all service men and women who, even today, are standing guard between us and those who would destroy us.

Yes, it is right to remember them.

As far as the other conversations, well, war has been with mankind since the beginning. It isn't a matter of believing in God, or not believing. It is a matter of the survival of one's nation and way of life. It is worth fighting to protect that.

For those who have not read the Bible, then I can understand their confusion. However, the Bible is filled with warriors.
