Thanks for the compliment John. Yes, I am aware of the Gibb-Streisand connection. In fact, I have the original LP that shows the two of them on the cover. Sometimes when you come up to a song on a particular countdown, there are several bits surrounding the tune with which one can comment.

My inclination was to point the high debut position of both 'Woman In Love' & 'Real Love' by the Doobies, and the fact that it is rare for any song to start out in the '40', let alone two songs in the same countdown.

Your observation is right on target, no doubt...and thanks for pointing it out.
