Alan, I thought I heard it all. I woke up one day and this song was swimming in my head for unknown reasons. Didn't know title or artist! Minor Regional hit only - "What Shall I Do" - Frankie & The Classicals - on ACE's Kent label - in Mono. I asked around and discovered the backing band track had been recycles several times! Even The Essex borrowed it with a song "Moonlight Music & You"! It was also released as an instrumental by a male person, and that's how I created the Stereo below. Look at Patti LaBelle & The Blue-Belles, "I Sold My Heart To The Junkman", and how The Starlets actually performed on the record, not Patti and crew!!! When I later read something like "Yeah, they'd offer us $100 to record a song, then toss some other name on the label!", that's when I knew anything was possible!

Good topic! Thanks!

Best,
John
