All,

Hi!

Hope everyone is doing well.

This is a short review of the Wednesday April 1, 2009 Top 40 Classics - The Classic 45's You Grew Up With Show
hosted by Dr. Johnny P. LoveTrain.

Great Show!

8:00 P. M. EST - 9:00 P. M. EST

Olivia Newton - John and Andy Gibb started the show with a 4 play consisting of 2 tunes by Olivia (1 with John Travolta and 1 solo hit) and 2 songs by Andy.

The 3 Of A Kind feature was also presented.

The main idea of this feature is that listener tries to figure out how each of the 3 songs played are related to each other.

The first listener to E - Mail Dr. Johnny with the correct answer, will get a " Shout - Out " on the air!

The songs played were:

Poor Little Fool - Rick Nelson - 1958
Fool (If You Think It's Over) - Chris Rea - 1978
The Fool On The Hill - The Beatles - 1967

The answer of how these 3 songs are connected with each other is:

Each title contains the word, " Fool ".

The following were some of the oldies that were played during the first hour:

Flashdance... What a Feeling - Irene Cara - 1983
Tossin' And Turnin' - Bobby Lewis - 1961
Mr. Jaws - Dickie Goodman - 1975

9:00 P. M. EST - 10:00 P. M. EST

The second hour of the show started with his Original / Remake feature and the song, " On Broadway " by both

The Drifters - 1963 - - - - Original Version
George Benson - 1978 - - - Remake Version

During the remaining of this hour, these were some of the Listener's Song Requests that were played:

Who Loves You - The Four Seasons - 1975
Southern Nights - Glen Campbell - 1977
The Wonder Of You - Elvis Presley - 1970

10:00 P. M. EST - 11:00 P. M. EST

These were some of the oldies played during the last hour:

Convention '72 - The Delegates - 1972
Bette Davis Eyes - Kim Carnes - 1981
Back In The U. S. A. - Linda Ronstadt - 1978

The Time Machine segment presented 6 songs that were popular on April 1, 1988. The sixth song in this segment played was the #1 song on this date, " Man In The Mirror " by Michael Jackson. Also, Dr. Johnny covered some of the news headlines that occurred on this date.

Next Week's Time Machine will feature April 8, 1974.

The show ended with the song, " Is This Love " by Survivor from 1986 - 1987.

Have a safe, beautiful and Blessed day and weekend in Him.

S - M - I - L - E !!!

Take Care!

God Bless You All!
