Named a song after a WABC DJ's daughter, Sherry!! You don't think that was intended to get the DJ to play it, do you?

Incidentally, the Bowling Alley was as you know, in Union, New Jersey, and (allegedly) they named themselves after the premises in the hope of persuading the owner to employ them.

And when they had it all done and dusted - he turned them down anyway!

(Sounds fairly Noo Joisey to me!)
