Subject: Hawaii Five-O (1969) - The Ventures

Not a big fan of The Ventures, but they did have a few songs I remembered. Walk, Don't Run and this, being my two favorites. This one, initially discovered as a .MP3, sounded exceptionally good. I have heard it sounding the same from US CD to CD, import to import, nothing new. I knew someone had remastered it, but who? Lots and lots of Ventures CDs on the market! Turns out, Ron Furmanek remastered it, or was instrumental in the remastering! Not sure why it wasn't remastered on EMI's Legendary Masters Series, also involving Ron! Guess they later eventually found the multi-track session tapes!...
