Not particularly picking on CBS, they are just in the neighborhood! :-) It's odd how CBS operates radio. I'm always complaining their WOGL (Philly) plays a very limited amount of Top 40. They currently, more or less, phased out the '50's with the exception of a late night Sunday show. I was shocked to see their WYSP (CBS, Philly) site, with The Partridge Family's, Danny Bonaduce, being the head host. I used to listen to WYSP, years ago. They were pretty good, for Classic Rock. Their site, in sections, is risque, boarding close to erotica. A "WOW!" for a CBS station! Whatever! While I tuned into WYSP's internet stream, I noticed CBS offers most all their stations around the country via streaming. I listed to one, WOMC, in Detroit. Not bad, actually better than WOGL, in Philly! But I gather since it's in Detroit, it heavily promotes Motown songs of the past. I asked WOMC to move to Philly! Of course, you can click on the (song playing) CD and purchase it through Amazon or buy the selection from iTunes. Guess this is another avenue how CBS Radio makes money! That's all for today's Radio Investigative Report! :-) Best,
