Some record manufacturers used a name to specify okay to play on Mono or Stereo equipment. One old 78 RPM Edison platter, like slate, I owned, you could hear nothing when played on stereo equipment, but when I rewired the phonograph pick-up, I heard a barbershop quartet! Thanks, Jim!
