Bob, thanks a lot for this information!!! As I said, Allen with his desire to control, did ALL the Philly artists wrong! That's a shame, since a lot of the material I grew up with. I have never, ever shelved a CD box set any faster that I did with ABKCO's Cameo-Parkway one! No one ever mentions it, but Bunny Sigler's Top 40 hit is a remake on that CD set! But his producer released it on a private label, but in Mono, when I had the stereo LP! The CD tracks sound inferior to the vinyl I had! I refuse to purchase any other ABKCO CDs. From what I have learned, the recording studio, in Philly, no one really knows what went on inside. I gather everyone under the sun came and left that place. Poorly managed, I'm sure. I just wish Klein Family would sell ALL the Cameo-Parkway material to someone who can do it justice and give those recording artists the money they deserve! I would LOVE to personally remaster it. Yeah, I have one or more Rydell remake CDs and a bootleg one with a couple tracks in Stereo. I do wish Allen rests in peace, but after reading about his tax fraud and how Mick Jaguar (s?) of The Rolling Stones, was yelling and chasing after him, because he wanted to control the Stones, it makes me wonder about his true colors.
