Bob was kind enough to play a version of this for me, possibly the very first song I remember as an infant. This version is said to be a cover version of Patti Page's 1952 #1 hit. This reached #1 in the UK, but did it chart in the US or elsewhere, such as Italy? The version Bob played was Stereo, so maybe a remake? It didn't sound like I remembered it; should sound like a gentle lullaby.... Thanks! Best, |
