Was fun to read when EMI purchased Capitol Records and had to call around the country asking if recording studios had any Capitol's material! I see now Capitol is now a LLC! Sad thing with these bigger labels, almost impossible to contact them! Plus, recording artists "please, no e-mail fan stuff", and I'm supposed to admire them? Anyway, supportive of my theory, most '70's recordings never had "Takes", just replace, add, build as you go. Notice no guitar solo or vocals... Thanks, Jim! Best,
