Was in my car, situated in Pennsylvania! Decides to scan AM band, near midnight. I found a fairly strong signal playing Friday Night Bandstand show. Odd thing, when they announced the temperature, it was extremely cold!! I put it all together when I heard "Toronto", not Fahrenheit. Anyway, the station is in Toronto and broadcasts with 50,000 Watts on 740 kHz. Signal propagates well into the US! Station appears to be owned by a Zoomer Broadcasting! Odd thing, they don't seem to be required to announce hourly call letters. Mixed Talk/Music shows Just interesting! Sent e-mail to one DJ, but have not heard back. But you know DJs, they just leave you high and dry! Oh, sorry, Bob! :) Best, |
