Pt. 1: Was minding my own business in the food store when I ran across a 2000, Sony CD with Louis Armstrong recordings in the budget bin. They mentioned a few names who did the "restoration" and "(re)mastering", one being a female, Sony seems to favor. I played my favorite song, Hello, Dolly, and it just sounded horrible! I THOUGHT I could enhance the weak, washed out sound. Pt. 2: Felt I could find better sound maybe on a Japanese CD. That I did and it had quite amazing dynamic sound!
