Ah, electronic was a hobby since I was a little boy and my Dad had his little electronic workshop situated in my bedroom! I remember playing with the vacuum tubes, the one with the caps on top that looked like rocket ships!!!

The MGB had to be rewired to racing specifications, I think! I wouldn't have done it for no other reason, since it was fine as is! There was little rewiring of it actually! Was glad to help my best friend, who I later lost track of after I married :-(
