Yes, I read that, too. However, on his site it SEEMS he was instumental in the production of the RCA recordings. A bit too involved for any regret.

Jim concluded: ABC material was available in Europe well into the 1980's

Again, maybe that was his father's doing. Seemed they wishes to market abroad. Who knows, maybe they made a deal with RCA to keep the ABC recordings out of site, per se'!
