Not your typical rockin' type of song, but it proves adults were still in control of what charted, hitting #1 in the US in 1962. Seemed to hit the UK record charts before Atco Records decided to publish it in the US! Sounds a bit unusual, maybe first time stereo to my ears. My Dad would be proud of me, since he played a clarinet (like Benny Goodman, was it), too. But like his son, John, Jr., who wanted to be a Big Band drummer, after his idol, Buddy Rich, never reached any professional level. Best,
