Thanks for your response John.
But the song I'm talking about is not the Frank Sinatra song, and it's not called "High Hopes".
It has the words "...cause he's got high hopes..." in it, but it's not called high hopes.
It was a Top-Ten hit from the late 50s, and the singer might be a one-hit-wonder. Every Oldies lover has heard it. It's kinda fast, very melodic, has an orchestra, and female back-up vocals.

"Cause he's got, high hopes, a-precka-precka-precka he's got, high hopes a- (falsetto) comacomacomacoma...."

Somebody's gotta know who does this.
