Subject: Rainbow - Since You Been Gone - 1979

Found on a Japan CD (100 Songs) compilation set. It sounded, maybe, vaguely familiar (and decent), only to discover many applauded it. My friend, Mike, said he may have the original vinyl album and Kent Kotal, at Forgotten Hits (blog), tells me it received lots of airplay in Chicago, so much, maybe others recorded it, too, but failed to make it a US Top 40 song! I think even The Zombies tried to make it a hit, probably even wrote it!
