Nothing personal, I'm not Alan, but I think it'd be a flop. Others have tried playing a lot of (R&B) obscurities, and fail. Actually, one DJ was upset since I (called in and) said I didn't recognize a single song. Two or so weeks later, he's off the air, no one was applauding!

If ANYTHING, I'd mix popular/obscurity/popular/obscurity, etc.

Just my two cents!!!
