| One big difference between Vietnam and Iraq where the music is concerned. Unlike the 60's where the music reflected the issues, these days the 'hits' are largely hip hop and rap and the topics are gangs, ghettos and girls. It's unlikely that with some very rare exceptions, most of today's hit music will be remembered as 'Golden Oldies' 5-10 years from now. |
