Subject: HDCD is a Fallacy! - Jerry Garcia - Sugaree

HDCD is often used when session tapes are not available to remix to remaster. It's a cheap and dirty way to digitally enhance audio. Microsoft liked the digital refinement so much, they bought the rights to it!!! I guess they are now supposed to be audiophiles! Maybe they should spend some time fixing their costly operating systems!!

Anyway, I didn't know Jerry Garcia had passed. He seemed like a down to earth person who enjoyed making music. This song was popular on local radio, though it didn't make US Top 40!
