Thank a lot, Nanci!!! See, I was driving up to Cranbury, NJ, many moons ago, to seek out some vintage vinyl recordings. I heard the robust ending of a song, on either WIP or WPEN. I thought to myself, I know this song, but had absolutely no idea of artist or title. I remembered the repeated ending lyrics for many years. I exhausted all resources trying to find this gem of a song. It wasn't until Napster surfaced that lent itself to help answer my question. It was Eydie Gorme's "Tonight I'll Say a Prayer For You My Love"! I checked with all family members, and even though they knew this song, none of them mentioned we had any records of Eydie's. I'm still lost how I remembered this tune after all these years. It's not what I'd call a Top Pop song!
