Subject: Seattle/Baltimore Shipbuilding Question?

Message Detail:
Bob,

Since your last post indicates that you have a chronology chart of the ships built by the Skinner Family of Federal Hill, Baltimore, Md., would you happen to know how many of the Skinner ships ever made it out to Seattle or other points in Puget Sound or along the Columbia and Snake Rivers?

What about the Skinner who moved to Seattle and began his own shipbuilding operation? Would you happen to know his name and shipyard location so that I might pass it on to the good folks at the Northwest Seaport Museum on Lake Union in the greater Seattle area?

I'm really glad that we finally have a discussion forum where we can learn ad share information as never before.

Best Regards,
Walt Mathers
