Look it's no skin off Christy's back to go out and parade aronud the media in favour of building ships in BC. After all it ain't coming out of the BC provincial coffers, it is all fed money and she is just trying to cash in on some free electioneering. My partner used to be a worker at BC shipyards, and had to give it up as the work wasn't steady enough. The industry was screwed over by the Feds first by the cancellation of the Polar 8, then the decision by the haters Hahn and Campbell. What really pissed me off was that the Germans subsidized the company in the building of those ferries realizing the importance of keeping it fit and healthy.Oh and there is always the subject of all the problems they came home with, but that is another little dirty secret willing to be kept, compliments of BC big media.Seeing Christy parade aronud spouting off like that makes me sick, the level of hypocrisy is astounding. |
