Hi, I am very curious about the 100th Anniversary event planned for the Tug Baltimore. I had heard a rumor that a tug parade was planned, and since I am the owner of a 66 year old tug boat, the Wendy B, moored in Washington DC, I was wondering if this were an event that invited participation of other tugs... It might well be worth a voyage on the Wendy B, especially given the opportunity to hang out with other tug enthusiasts. The Wendy B was originally steam, and would fit well in a line up with the Baltimore. It also has a good story, which I would be happy to share with any participants and visitors, as well as a small association with Baltimore, having wintered there some years ago when it was still a Canadian boat. If this isn't appropriate to the event, I would still enjoy participating, and would very much like to receive any info you can share with me. Best, |
