Subject: Honing In For A Maritime Model Rodeo Next October

Bob,

I hope the 'CG' stands for Coast Guard 'cause I'd like to know where we can get some oil containment floatation link strings?

We have a unique opportunity to temporarily turn a large portion of the area between the two 'event-activity' piers and the seawall into a large still pond using an extended floatation barrier.

I can't tell you how much the Precision Steering, Docking and Salvage activities excite me. This will be such a worthwhile way to enlighen, educate and involve the general public with a facet of port activity seldom seen and still little understood.

We've asked the Maryland Pilot's Association to be in attendence. Shall you need additional judges, these folks might be exceptionally good stand-ins ;)

We're already planning for a workboat pass-in-review. Two will be better than one - especially if scheduled in for both Saturday and Sunday.

Let's talk more!
Walt
