In addition to the regular 9:30a to 3:30p 1st and 3rd Saturday volunteer gatherings, there are many other opportunities to allow you to join in. You can becoming part of the crew and cast your lot by attending one or more Calendar of Events for 2006 with Steam Tug BALTIMORE Exhibits and/or Appearances April 29th Baltimore Waterfront Festival manning Port of Baltimore Tricentennial Committee booth 11am-2:30pm May 6th - 7th - Chesapeake Antique Boat & Marine Engine Show, 10am-3pm Calvert Maritime Museum, Solomon’s, Maryland May 20th - 21st - Maritime Model Expo Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21, 10am-4pm hosted by Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum Model Guild and the North American Steamboat Modelers Association, St. Michaels, Maryland May 22nd - National Maritime Day Wreath Laying Ceremony, 11am in conjunction with the US Maritime Administration, American Association of Port Authorities, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Waterways Council Inc., U.S. Coast Guard, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and a number of others associated with the maritime industry to commemorate National Maritime Day of Prayer, a Remembrance for Seafarers and People of the Sea, Baltimore Inner Harbor South (tug appearance) June 1st Port of Baltimore Tricentennial Gala Signature Fund Raiser, times TBA, South Terminal, Locust Point, Baltimore, Maryland (tug appearance) September 10th Working Waterfront Celebration 12pm-5pm, Baltimore Museum of Industry, 1415 Key Highway, Baltimore Inner Harbor South, Baltimore, Maryland (tug appearance) September 24th Street Beat Festival 11am-7pm South Charles & Cross Streets in Historic Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland. October 7th- 8th - Fells Point Fun Festival 10am-5pm, Foot of Thames Street & Broadway, Baltimore, Maryland. (tug appearance - tentative) October 21st-22nd - Steam Tug BALTIMORE'S 100th Birthday Party 10am-3pm, Naval Reserve Center, Fort McHenry & Baltimore Museum of Industry (tug appearance) Stand-by All Lines!
